How Will You Spend The Holidays?

Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

Be Clear About Your Goals & ObjectivesHow do you plan to spend the time in-between Christmas and New Year?  Some people will be working, but the vast majority will have some time off to spend with family members and friends.  Normally this means endless amounts to eat and drink, then in January we all feel overweight, depressed and bloated.  Hangover also, as the body has maybe had alcohol every day and night.  The poor body just doesn’t get a break at this time of the year.

Here are some ideas to help you get off the couch:

  • Realistically set either personal or business goals for 2013
  • Clear out junk from the house / office – Be efficient in preparation for 2013
  • Go through your social media contacts, touch base with those who add value, and delete those who you probably will never communicate with
  • Start to prepare your accounts for April 2013

Alternatively, if you have the luxury of investing in yourself;

  • Book a Spa Retreat
  • Get a physical at your local Gym and sign-up to a membership
  • Go through your wardrobe and give any ‘old’ clothes to charity
  • Check all your lotions and potions – are any past their expiry date?  If so, bin immediately

Whatever you do this Christmas, try to relax and use the time wisely.  It is not often that we all slow down at the same time.  I have already written my main goals for 2013 but I am going to define them so I know what I need to do each month and year.  If I am lucky I may even get to Venice for a 3-day break at some point in the year for some R & R.
